Stenner

The Stenner pump is available two ways, as an adjustable output or as a fixed output. The adjustable output pump is used when the water flow is a known constant value. The adjustment ring on the outside of the pump is used to dial in the correct amount of chemical injected when the pump is powered. Applications for the adjustable pump include pen wash systems, well water injection or similar installations when the water flow rate does not change. The fixed output pump is used for applications where the flow of water will vary. The fixed output pump is used with a water meter and the PCM timer control. The meter measures the flow of water and for every gallon triggers the PCM timer to operate the pump for a programmed period of time. Some of the applications where the fixed output pump could be used are udder washhoses, water bowl fill lines or backflush water line injection. The Stenner pump capacity is based on the squeeze tube size and speed. With the 85 series pump, the #1 tube set provides 5 gallons per day capacity, the #2 set provides 17 gallons per day capacity and the #7 set provides 40 gallons per day capacity.
